Tell me about allotment of units?
- As the entry load is banned in India, all the units in NFO are sold at face value. So the units can be calculated by dividing the investment amount by the FV of the mutual fund.
- In a right issue, the prices at which the units are given are the rights price told during the time of investment.
- For bonus issue, the investor does not have to pay anything to the distributer or AMC. The units are allotted for free.
